ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social content strategy that aligns with MESHKI’s brand vision and marketing objectives.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and leverage them to create viral, engaging content.
- Attend photoshoots and branded events to shoot and edit high-quality viral social content on iPhone and DSLR cameras.
- Create visually appealing and engaging social content that align with social media trends, nuances and brand aesthetic.
- Create highly-engaging content to spotlight products that are seasonally relevant and resonate with customer mindsets.
- Plan and produce social media content to achieve engagement rate, follower growth and product sell-through targets.
- Plan and produce social-led photoshoots that align with different marketing objectives.
- Create custom set backdrops for social-led photoshoots including props and set design unique to MESHKI.
- Plan and produce high-quality, high-engaging video content that showcases MESHKI’s products and brand story.
- Continuously ideate new ways to shoot and edit social content to enhance MESHKI’s presence on different platforms.
- Edit captured social videos optimised for high-engaging Instagram reels and Tiktoks
- Experiment with new content formats and creative approaches to stay ahead of the curve.
- Encourage and implement innovative content ideas that differentiate MESHKI from competitors and attract a wider audience.
- Conduct industry and competitor research to put forward recommendations for content gaps and upcoming collection/bespoke launches
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Photography/Videography or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media content creation.
- An online portfolio showcasing a proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content (photo/video) on Instagram and Tiktok.
- An extremely strong understanding of photography and videography equipment and best practices including lighting, model poses, and post-production edits.
- Strong photo/video production and editing skills, with proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Inshot, Capcut, Photoshop).
- Strong social media presence on personal Instagram and Tiktok accounts.
- A strong attention to detail and creative eye for visually appealing content.
- Ambitious and creative mindset with an obsession for social media and fashion.
- Deep understanding of Instagram and Tiktok reactive trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with followers and influencers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions that align with brand values.
- Genuine love for MESHKI and perfect alignment with its aesthetic and style.
