Pearl Halter Mini Dress - White

Great dress. It fits true to size, has a little bit of stretch, but not much due to the beading and hanging beads. When I took the dress out of the box, one string of beads completely came undone, which was a little upsetting for the price that I paid but luckily it was an easy fix. I am very excited to wear this as my second look for my wedding.

It's evident the amount of time and detail that was spent in making this dress. My seamstress called it "Spectacular" which says a lot since she sees a lot of bridal looks. I love that the pearls hang in different directions and you can put some loops over your neck as a part of the halter and that there are some that drape along your bare back. I think you can cut some of the extra pearls and re-wear this dress for New Years Eve or a birthday to lessen the bridal look.

I have a rectangle shape body, so since my chest and butt aren't as prominent, it's missing a bit of shape in the center of the dress. It would look fabulous if I had curves, but I'm having my seamstress add in some cups and taking in the sides a bit to give a bit more structure. Given the return policy and the price of the dress, you have to really be committed to this halter shape to commit so much credit with Meshki should you need to return it. I'm 5'2" and the dress is SLIGHTLY longer than I'd like it to be, as it reaches below my fingertips when I rest my palms on my sides. Unfortunately, because of the pearl detail and the scalloped hem, my seamstress can't take it up shorter. I wanted it to hit at the height that it did on the model (right below her butt) since I'm wearing kitten heel flats like she is.

I also noticed the dress isn't super white. It's more of a greyish white because of the pearls and sequins paired with the neutral slip, but when photographed with flash, it photographs…
