Sleeveless Broderie Top - Pale Cornflower Blue

The Arla top and bottom are just as gorgeous as in the product photos! I’d definitely recommend this purchase. I daresay I’d even buy a second as a back up if tragedy were to befall the set.

Fit-wise, I’d say compared to Meshki’s sizing guide for waist, hip, chest measurements, this item fits a tiny bit large. Perhaps wrongly assuming Meshki follows vanity sizing, I initially bought the set in size S, since I tend to buy US 4 at Sézane and Reformation. Unfortunately, it was so small that I couldn’t even close the buttons, so I returned it for a size M which fit nearly perfectly. The top gapes a bit around my chest area (a very flat 30B) and it’s a little puffy in the upper back, but it’s nothing a little tailoring or fashion tape can’t solve! Somehow, despite the gaping, the top completely covers my areolas even looking right through the gap, so it’s only a minor issue among a more convservative crowd. As a gal with broad shoulders, I was pleased to find that the arm holes fit very well. Paired with the skirt, this top is incredibly flattering. My weight is up right now, and I carry quite a bit of it around my belly, but in the set, you can hardly tell how much my figure has changed.

I’m also overall pleased with the design choices. The fabric, while opaque, is thin enough to wear in hot weather. The coveted buttons are paired with elastic loops which should help the longevity of the buttons. A very minor critique is that the seams are visible through the eyelets. They…
